Tokens are an internal digital currency used for outbound automated messaging, such as broadcasts, campaigns, and pipeline event messages, as well as various AI functionalities on the platform like AI Trainer: ChatBot, AI-generated event messages, and AI transcription and summarization.
Although your company might not yet use the token-based system, all accounts will eventually transition to it, offering more control over automated outreach and providing advanced features to provide your organization with a competitive advantage.
SuperUsers can view and manage their team's token usage, set token limits, and handle token purchases and transfers, ensuring that teams have the necessary resources for efficient and uninterrupted operations while maintaining control over usage and costs.

Tokens Overview
Token balances are visible in the top left corner of your account and include monthly tokens, which renew each month, and Top-up Tokens, which roll over if unused. SuperUsers can manage token usage, set limits, and handle purchases and transfers, ensuring efficient operations while maintaining control over costs.
Purchasing and Transferring Top-Up Tokens
Top-up Tokens are additional tokens that supplement your monthly tokens, rolling over each month and never expiring. You can purchase Top-up tokens through a "One time Top-up" or set up an auto-buy that triggers a purchase when your token pool falls below a specified threshold. Once purchased, Top-up tokens (and Monthly tokens) can be transferred to team members to ensure they have the necessary resources for efficient operations.
Team Token Allocation Templates
SuperUsers can configure token templates for teams based on their usage, automatically setting token levels each month to ensure effective resource distribution. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for large teams with varying token needs. In the Token Allocation section under the Billing tab, you can view the default monthly token allocations per user seat and easily make changes using the dropdown menu. Options include setting default allocations, distributing tokens evenly, or customizing token amounts for each team. Establishing these templates ensures that token distribution aligns with your organization’s operational needs, optimizing the effectiveness of automated messaging.
Team Token Limits
As a SuperUser, you can control token limits for individuals within your organization at the seat level. In the "Teams" tab, you can view each team member's current monthly usage and their token limit. To establish or adjust token limits, click the "Edit" button next to a team member, then specify the maximum number of monthly tokens they can use. SuperUsers can also grant unlimited token usage if needed. While SuperUsers can manage these limits, it is recommended that Team Leads handle this function due to their familiarity with day-to-day token consumption.
Team Access to Token Based AI Features
As a SuperUser, you can control access to Token-based AI features for teams in your organization. From your "Company" tab, scroll down to "Enable AI Features." When toggled on (pink), AI features will be available to all team members across your organization. Additionally, you can enable (pink) or disable (gray) specific AI features for these teams, such as Spark (AI-generated Campaigns and Event messages), and Transcription (inbound and outbound call and voicemail transcription and summaries).
