With Bonzo AI and Tokens, you can automatically transcribe and summarize all inbound and outbound calls and voicemails. You have the flexibility to either enable automatic transcription and summaries for all your calls and voicemails or selectively apply this feature to specific ones. This functionality enhances record-keeping efficiency for you and your team.
Accessing Transcription Settings

Navigate to the "Communication" tab and click on "Voice & Messaging." Then scroll down to "Transcription Settings."

To edit "Transcription Settings" or to utilize on-demand transcription you must first have the "Record Calls" feature toggled on.

Scroll over the (i) icon to view the states that require verbal recording consent when recording calls.
Enabling Transcription
- Calls: Toggle this button (pink) to enable transcription for all inbound and outbound calls for 10 tokens (per each started minute). For 15 tokens (per each started minute) you can receive a transcript + a summary of the call for your records and to share with teammates.
- Voicemails: Toggle this button (pink) to enable transcription for all inbound and outbound voicemails for 10 tokens (per each started minute). For 15 tokens (per each started minute) you can receive a transcript + a summary of the voicemail.
- Minimum Duration: Input a minimum duration (in seconds) for the call or voicemail to trigger transcription. If the call or voicemail is shorter than the duration you set, it will not trigger transcription and incur a token cost.
Viewing the Transcript & Summary

Once generated, the transcript & summary will be available directly in the conversation view. Navigate to "Conversations" under the messaging dropdown and click on a conversation.

If automatic transcription or summarize is enabled, the text will immediately appear below the call or voicemail. If you would like to transcribe or summarize calls on demand, read the section below that highlights click the "Transcribe" button.
Using the On-Demand Transcription

From your "Voice & Messaging" tab, ensure that "Call recording" is toggled on and that the automated "Transcription Settings" are disabled.

Next, navigate to any conversation and below a call or voicemail you will see a button titled "Transcribe."

Click this button and then choose the "Transcription Type," either a simple transcription of your audio ("Transcribe only") or a detailed transcription along with a concise summary ("Transcription with summary") of your call or voicemail.

Once you select your option and click on the pink "Transcribe" button in the bottom right, the transcription and/or transcription and summary will populate in your conversations tab directly beneath the call or voicemail.
Using the Summarize Feature as Notes

From your dashboard, click on "Conversations" and select a contact or a conversation. In the bottom reply box click on "Note."
Underneath the reply box you will see a new option that allows you to summarize the conversation for the last 50 back and forth messages with this contact (this includes actions like moving the contact to a new campaign or pipeline stage).

Click the "Summarize" button to generate and view the communication break down.
If you click the pink send arrow in the bottom right, this summary will be posted as a note to the conversation view and it will now be visible to you and any team member who has shared access to this contact.
