Public Link vs. Personalized Magic Links
Public Home Search Link:
- Single URL shared broadly (social media, website, campaigns)
- No individual authentication—anyone can access
- Prospects can browse properties and get pre-qualified
- Must create a login to save searches or favorite properties
- No individual engagement tracking
Personalized Magic Links (generated via "Share My Home Search" in MMI):
- Unique URL per borrower with temporary authentication
- Automatically logs borrower in without account creation
- Tracks individual engagement (properties viewed, favorites, clicks)
- Designed for one-to-one sharing via text or email
- Should not be forwarded to multiple people

By providing prospects with immediate access to a valuable home search experience branded with your information, you position yourself as the primary resource in their homebuying journey before they ever contact a realtor or visits Redfin or Zillow. The merge tag functionality means you can deploy this capability across your entire campaign library in minutes. The result is a Home Search strategy that meets prospects wherever they are in their journey—while keeping them connected to your brand instead of losing them to third-party property sites.
