Overview
If your company uses both Bonzo and MeridianLink Mortgage, good news — the two platforms are now connected! The MeridianLink Mortgage integration automatically keeps your loan and borrower data in sync between MeridianLink Mortgage and Bonzo, so you don't have to re-enter information manually.
Here's how it works: whenever a loan file is updated in MeridianLink Mortgage — whether that's a status change, a new milestone, or updated borrower details — Bonzo picks up that change automatically and updates the corresponding contact and deal record on its end. This means your Bonzo pipeline stays current without any extra effort on your part, and you can trigger the right communication campaigns for each borrower at exactly the right stage of their loan journey.
What this means for you as a loan officer:
- No more double data entry between your LOS and CRM
- Your Bonzo pipeline stages update automatically as loans progress in MeridianLink
- Automated campaigns can fire at the right time based on real loan milestones
- More time to focus on building relationships with borrowers
How Your Pipeline Stages Map Over
MeridianLink uses detailed status labels to track where a loan is in the process. Bonzo simplifies these into broader pipeline stages that are easier to work with in your CRM. Here's how they correspond:
| MeridianLink Status | Bonzo Pipeline Stage |
|---|---|
| Lead New | New Lead |
| Loan Open | New Lead |
| Pre-qual | Engaging |
| Registered | Engaging |
| Application Started | Initial Application Journey |
| Pre-Approved | Pre-approved |
| Processing | In Process |
| Submitted | In Process |
| In Underwriting | In Process |
| Approved | In Process |
| Clear to Close | Closing / Finalizing |
| Funded | Closed |
| Closed | Closed |
So for example, if a loan moves to "In Underwriting" in MeridianLink, you'll see it sitting in the In Process stage inside Bonzo. No action needed on your end — it updates on its own.
