Porting Requests Workflow

The new Porting Requests Workflow feature provides a streamlined approach to help you initiate and manage your porting requests.

Key changes in this process:

• Members now initiate the phone porting process in the "Port Your Number" section of the "Voice and Messaging" tab

• Cost for porting a phone number is $199, and the purchase/payment are part of the porting workflow

Step-by-Step Process for Porting a Phone Number:

1. Access settings:

   • Begin by logging into your Bonzo account

   • Navigate to your account settings to start the porting process

2. Go to Voice and Messaging:

   • Within your settings, locate and select the "voice and messaging" tab

3. Port Your Number Section:

   • In the "voice and messaging" tab, find the "port your number" section

   • Click on "details" to proceed with the porting process

      

      

     

    

    

4. Check Status and Port Requests:

   • You will be redirected to a page where you can view the status of any previous port requests

   • To initiate a new porting request, click on the "+ add port in number" button located at the top left of the page

     

    

5. Enter Phone Number Details:

   • A pop-ip box will appear, prompting you to select the current carrier of the number you wish to port

   • Enter the phone number in the designated area

   • If you wish to add multiple numbers, click the "add +" button within the pop-up

      

     

    

6. Proceed to Billing Information:

   • After entering the phone number(s), click "next" to move to the billing information tab

   • Choose the owner of the number, whether it is a person or a business entity

   • Fill out the required billing information fields that appear

7. Review Billing Summary:

   • Once the billing information is complete, select "next" to reach the billing summary page

   • Review the overview of your porting request to ensure all details are correct

8. Submit Porting Request:

   • If all information is accurate, submit your porting request to the Bonzo team for processing

9. Confirmation and Follow Up:

   • After submission, you should receive confirmation of your request

   • Keep an eye on your contact method of choice for any follow-up communication regarding the status of your porting request
